Reeve Frosler is delighted to be back in the Kaizer Chiefs squad after recovering well from a knee injury and hoping to get some time as they lock horns with Baroka FC in the DStv Premiership clash at FNB Stadium today.
The Amakhosi defender came on from the bench in their previous league encounter against Stellenbosch FC this past weekend.
“I’ve recovered very well, the doctors and physios are happy,” Frosler told the Glamour Boys’ official site.
“During the recuperation period, it is always difficult watching from the stands. I don’t like watching from the stands or from home – I prefer watching from the bench.
“It was hard, but it was nice to see the guys come together and keep going. As we started working together, we started receiving better results.”
The 23-year-old right-back says he wants to focus on building his confidence up and get in some minutes to get fit again.
“I feel great. I just need to build on my confidence, and that will happen with game time,” Frosler adds.
The Port Elizabeth-born defender has now shifted his focus to their next game against Bakgaga and reckons that they’re anticipating a difficult encounter.
“Baroka are a good team. They know how to make life difficult for you. They are a team that is not shy to play. They lost their last game, so they obviously out to get a victory which will obviously be very difficult for us. We just have to stick by each other and go forward,” he divulges.
Having finally made his return, Frosler will bolster Gavin Hunt’s team selection ahead of this afternoon’s encounter.
The game will kick off at 17:00.
