Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler is expecting to come up against a fully prepared AmaZulu side for their Absa Premiership encounter at FNB Stadium on Saturday, kickoff at 20:15.
AmaZulu are rooted at the bottom of the log standings with 20 points in their 23 League games and Frosler says as much as they need a victory to remain top of the log, the KwaZulu-Natal outfit is also desperate for a win to move away from the relegation zone.
“They [AmaZulu} have to come out and collect the points so that they can stay up in the League as well we have to go out there collect the points as we want to stay number one so it is going to be an interesting game,” said Frosler.
“Both teams need a victory. AmaZulu are a hard team, they have had some issues in the past I think but they are not a bad team to play against, they are not the easiest team to play against as well so it is going to be a good challenge for us this weekend,” added the Chiefs right-back.
A win for the ‘Glamour Boys’ will see them stretch their lead at the top of the log to 10 points while an unlikely victory for ‘Usuthu’ will boost their confidence and move them to 14th place.
“It is always difficult playing against a team that is not going to come at you not as much what [Orlando] Pirates did last weekend so it is going to be a bit of a challenge.
“But I think the guys are up for the challenge, having to create the tempo and play out of a good tempo, this game is going to be important for us, important for the rest of the games going towards the end of the season,” concluded Frosler.
