GladAfrica: AmaTuks, Umoya keep perfect record intact


University of Pretoria and Cape Umoya United laid down an emphatic early-season marker as they both continued their winning starts in the 2020/21 GladAfrica Championship season.

Umoya came from a goal down to beat Cape rivals Steenberg United 2-1 at Parow Park Stadium on Saturday, while AmaTuks narrowly edged newly-promoted Bizana Pondo Chiefs 1-0 at Tuks Stadium.


AmaTuks and Umoya remain as the only two teams left in the second-tier league with a 100 percent record.

The two clubs have recorded three wins from three matches to sit level on nine points at the top of the log standings.
