The GladAfrica Championship will wrap today and there is still much to play for, as teams are either fighting to survive the drop or to get automatic promotion to the DStv Premiership.

With the league title being a two-horse race between Royal AM and Sekhukhune United, all eyes will be on the two teams’ matches as they take on Cape Town All Stars and JDR FC respectively.

The two sides will play their matches while they’ll also be thinking about the PSL DC ruling which favored Sekhukhune United.

Though the PSL executing committee threw the spanner in the works, leaving everyone confused on what will transpire after all matches.

As things stand, Sekhukhune United who will visit JDR at Soshanguve Giant Stadium just need a victory to be crowned champions.

Royal AM will have their work cut out as they welcome relegation-haunted Cape Town All Stars at Chatsworth Stadium, they will also look to win the match and hope Sekhukhune drop points.

JDR Stars and Free State Stars have outside chances of qualifying for play-offs as they have 44 points each and they will be relying on other team’s results.

Meanwhile, TS Sporting and Richards Bay who have 46 points each, will be looking to win and hope Sekhukhune United drop points, to qualify for the playoffs.

Free State Stars will be hoping for a victory when they visit Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, as they too harbor ambitions of qualifying for the playoffs.

Other contenders for a playoff spot TS Sporting travel to Lucas Moripe Stadium to face a rejuvenated Pretoria Callies.

University of Pretoria’s journey to Cape Town Stadium, where they will face Cape Town Spurs might prove to be another humdinger.

The side from the Mother City are fighting relegation and they will want to win at all costs after losing out on the league on the last day of last season.

Richards Bay will look to grab a playoff spot when they lock horns with Steenburg FC at Richards Bay Stadium.
