The result sees Ezenkosi jump to 14th on the log while Sporting dropped to second from bottom, 2 points above bottom side Royal Eagles.
Despite their 2-1 defeat by rookies Steenberg United on Saturday, Ajax Cape Town remain on top of the GladAfrica Championship log with 32 points.
Uthongathi are second followed by Steenberg, Real Kings, Swallows and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
