Richards Bay played out to an exciting 2-2 draw against TS Sporting 2-1 while Real Kings sealed a comfortable 2-0 victory over Cape Umoya FC on Sunday afternoon.
These were the first two matches of the GladAfrica Championship restart being played in Gauteng in a Biological Safa Environment (BSE) amid the deadly coronavirus.
Sporting took the lead through Decide Chauke in the 14th minute at the University Of Pretoria Tuks Stadium and went into the half time break in front after a dominate first-half performance.
However, a beautiful goal by Tony Zwane drew the hosts level 23 minutes into the second half with Siyabonga Vilane putting Richards Bay ahead in the 70th minute.
Bay were seconds away from winning the game until Percyvell Nkabinde grabbed the equaliser with the kick of the match to earn Sporting a point.
Meanwhile, at Tsakane Stadium, Kings attacker, Levy Mashiane opened the scoring inside the first 10 minutes of the game with Sedwyn George netting the second goal in the 37th minute from the penalty spot to hand Kings all the three points.
Kings move up to sixth place on the log standings with 36 points while Umoya remain 12th, six points above the relegation zone.
