GladAfrica Wrap: Sekhukhune drop points in title race


Sekhukhune United assistant coach Selaotse “Sly” Mosala has bemoaned his team’s missed opportunities in their GladAfrica Championship clash against Steenberg United at Idas Valley in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.

The second-tier league leaders ‘BabinaNoko’ dropped points as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Steenberg with Mosala saying they have themselves to blame for failing to get register a win.

“I think the better team lost but in this situation, we have ourselves to blame because we had enough chances to get something out of the game,” he said.

Meanwhile, Royal AM beat Bizana Pondo Chiefs 2-0 to move top of the log while TS Sporting thrashed JDR Stars 3-1.

Jomo Cosmos played out to a 1-1 draw against Polokwane City and Uthongathi failed to get maximum points at home as they were held to a goalless draw by Pretoria Callies.
