GladAfricaWrap: Sekhukhune coach pleased with battling point

Sekhukhune United coach MacDonald Makhubedu said he was satisfied with just a point, considering they were playing away from home at the Chatsworth Stadium against a strong Royal AM side.

With the goalless draw, Sekhukhune remain at the summit of the GladAfrica Championship log standings level on 35 points with second-placed Richards Bay after 21 matches.

“It was a very good game between two good teams, I think they gave their all even though we were supposed to win the game, they had their chances also, but we had more than seven chances while they had one or two, but we will take the point,” said Makhubedu.

“It is a very valuable point for us as we played a very good team in Durban, I am happy for my boys, the effort.”
