Black Leopards coach Cavin Johnson reckons having gone through 3 coaches before him might have affected the players mentality, hence the poor run of League results.
Lidoda Duvha suffered their 4th straight defeat after going down 4-2 against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday afternoon. It was a 3rd defeat under Johnson who took over earlier this month.
“We have to go back and try get out of this hole because the way we played in movements and in patches, this team is not supposed to be there” Johnson told reporters after the match.
“But in saying that they have gone through 4 different coaches, 4 different mentalities and probably when you lose the mentality goes back to X, Y and Z so the mentality of winning is not there. But they are trying and I give them credit but we going to have to push harder” He said.
Leopards started the season under Lionel Soccoia who took over from Dylan Kerr who resigned at the end of last season. The French-man was fired after 3 months and was replaced by Luc Eymael.
The Belgian also resigned after 2 months and was replaced by Johnson.
