Guess who’s back?

Former Baroka and Chippa United CEO Morgan Mammila has resurfaced at GladAfrica Championship side Royal Eagles.

Mammila is well known for his role in helping Bakgaga gain promotion to the Absa Premiership in 2016 and the 2018 Telkom Knockout Cup Triumph.

He says he couldn’t resist a call from Sbu Mpisane.

“Mr Sbu Mpisane approached me stressing about his team’s position. After some deep thoughts I decided to help him.

“I have learnt a lot in my 6 years’ experience in professional football. I have managed a champion team from NFD to Absa Premiership and also managed a team winning the NFD play offs. I also have managed a team to win Telkom Cup and Q-Innovation in the Absa Premiership.”

Royal Eagles are bottom of the GladAfrica Championship log after losing three games and drawing two in their five games.

Mammila comes in at a time when Eagles parted ways with Richard Makhoba (general manager) and Morena Ramorebodi (coach), who both quit the club.
