Raja Casablanca president Rachid Andaloussi has told Cairo giants Al Ahly and Zamalek that the club’s stars Soufiane Rahimi and Ben Malango are not up for sale.
The two players have been linked to Cairo giants Al Ahly and Zamalek, but Andaloussi has vowed they are going nowhere.
The Moroccan giants Raja were recently crowned Caf Confederation Cup champions after beating Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the final.
Rahimi caught the eye of Pitso Mosimane’s Ahly with scintillating performances in the build up to the final. The Red Devils reportedly tabled a R30 million offer for his services, which did not meet the Casablanca side’s valuation of the 30-year-old star.
Raja values the player, who has since come out to say he is content at the club, at R45 million.
On the other hand, Zamalek have reportedly shown interest in acquiring Malango’s services but the Congo international has denied having received any offers.
It was also reported that Malango and Zamalek went on until the player’s agent informed them of the transfer fee. The report suggests that the Moroccan giants want no less than R60 million to let go of the player.
Andaloussi reconfirmed that they won’t let go of either player, especially that they’re still competing for many trophies.
“The door for negotiations is closed with any club regarding Soufiane Rahimi and Ben Malango because we need every player in Raja because we have major challenges ahead,” he told OnTime Sport TV.
“We have the Moroccan Cup and the African Super Cup ahead of us, and we need all the players. Our season is not over yet,” he concluded.
