Ajax Amsterdam will be releasing a statement on what has recently transpired at their South Africa-based satellite club Ajax Cape Town recently.
Head coach Andries Ulderink has left the GladAfrica Championship side following club CEO Ari Efstathiou’s refusal to lift the suspension of head of youth, Hans Vonk.
The Urban Warriors says Ulderink’s resignation has to do with serious charges of misconduct against Vonk.
According to a very reliable source Amsterdam are not happy with the way Ajax Cape Town have handled the issue.
“At the moment Amsterdam, Andries and Vonk have decided to remain calm and not do fighting via the press.” A source said.
“Later on they will come with a statement. Amsterdam are absolutely on their side on this one, and they will see and deal with the issues in the best possible way.”
Ulderink was initially expected to leave the log leaders at the end of the currrent season.
