Maritzburg United defender Kwanda Mngonyama believes that happy days are coming despite the fact that his side is yet to register a point in the 2020/21 DStv Premiership.
The KZN-based outfit has lost three games in a row since the start of the Premiership Soccer League (PSL) campaign. The Blue Army currently sit 15th in the PSL log standings and only goal difference separates them from Black Leopards, who occupy the last position.
“The Boys are training very well, you could see and feel that they are working hard as a team,” Mngonyama told Maritzburg United’s official website.
“All I can say to our fans is that happy days are coming.”
The 27-year-old’s mentor Eric Tinkler also added that his side will have a lot of work in the next few weeks in order to turn the tables around and go back to their winning ways.
Mngonyama went on to say that they are looking forward to getting the first three points for Maritzburg in their next game.
The Team of Choice will return to DStv Premiership action on November 21 against Black Leopards at Thohoyandou Stadium. The kick-off is set for 15h30 in the afternoon.
