Heric wants results, no fancy football

Chippa United technical director Vladislav Heric, who has seemingly taken over the coaching duties from coach Siyabulela Gwambi, says his team is focused on getting results ahead of today’s Nedbank Cup final.

Chippa United will lock horns with Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila at Free State Stadium (18:00).

Heric told the media that his approach is to win the match against TTM and nothing fancy.

“We expect a very tough game like every final, it’s 50/50, it will be very tough, it’s not going to be very attractive football because everyone wants to win,” Heric stated.

“Not too much risk, you definitely have to go for results, but I believe that people will enjoy the football they watch on TV and they will get some couple of good moves.”

The Serbian further revealed that his working relationship with coach Gwambi is that of fighting for the same course and they are both looking at helping the team.

“We have one goal to achieve and we are all focused on what matters, as a new coach at Chippa United I always give a chance to the existing coaches to try to work together with them.”
