Chippa United technical director Vladislav Heric was a disappointed man after his side missed on an opportunity to grab maximum points, as they were held to goalless draw by Black Leopards at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday.
The Chilli Boys are in 14th position, one point ahead of Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila who have a game in hand.
The Serbian highlighted the challenge of lack of options in the striking department for the team, as they look to avoid relegation.
“We dominated (for) 90 minutes, we just missed so many chances, we couldn’t score the goal, obviously we were the better team,” Heric claimed.
“We showed the hunger of scoring and winning the game, fighting spirit is here the boys did really do their best to win the game but unfortunately again we are not scoring.”
“We have to think about reinforcing the striking force. We have six days to prepare for the game against (Bloemfontein) Celtic and have to definitely find a way,” said Heric.
“Hopefully next game we gonna score more goals and once we start to score the goals it will be different.”
