Highlands Park deny salary cut claims

Highlands Park co-director Brad Kaftel says rumours that the club is planning to cut the salaries for players and technical staff are simply not true.

FARPost has been informed that the Lions of North have already called to a meeting their technical team to discuss the salary cuts.

“We will be paying out the full grant.” Kaftel said.

“Players’ salaries are all being paid in full. As normal there are some performance related issues which are being dealt with individually.

“Our head coach and technical director are being paid in full,” Kaftel insisted.

Due to the Coronavirus, clubs in Europe are reducing their players salaries as they are currently not making money.
