FARPost has it on good authority that former Black Leopards midfielder Lefa Hlongwane has joined Maritzburg United.
Hlongwane joins the ‘Team of Choice’ on a two-year deal and started training with his new teammates on Monday.
The 27-year-old recently parted ways with Leopards after spending three seasons at the Limpopo club.
Prior to joining Leopards, Hlongwane also had stints at Jomo Cosmos, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila as well as Royal Eagles.
United recently parted ways with players such as Kwanda Mngonyama and Bandile Shandu who have joined Orlando Pirates as free agents, as well as Bongani Mpandle who has moved to Cape Town City.
