Baroka head coach Dylan Kerr has hailed the Man of the Match performance by defender Denwin Farmer during the 1-0 win over Polokwane City in the Nedbank Cup last 32 match on Tuesday.
Farmer has been a rock in the Bakgaga defence since joining at the beginning of the season from Maritzburg United.
In the 13 matches he has played, the 23-year-old has been voted Man of the Match 3 times, 2 in the League and 1 in the Nedbank Cup.
Kerr says that the former SuperSport United player may attract the interest of the national team coaches if he keeps the same level of performances.
“Denwin Farmer for me I don’t think he lost a challenge in the box I mean that lad has a big future in football. If he keeps performing for me and if he keeps performing for Baroka and hopefully you know, the national team will be taking an interest in him,” said Kerr after the match.
Baroka have now won 3 of their last 5 matches conceding just 2 goals while scoring 4.
