Baroka down Leopards


After a dull first half of their DStv Premiership match at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, Baroka and Black Leopards provided a different and exciting second half full of goals.

The hosts opened the scoring through an own goal by Leopards defender Kenny Nthatheni in the 62nd minute.

Namibian international Joslin Kamatuka doubled the score five minutes later.

Nthatheni scored the consolation goal for the visitors with six minutes of the match remaining.

Leopards remain bottom of the log with nine points from 15 matches.

Baroka have jumped into the top eight with 20 points from 17 games.
