Golden Arrows settled for a draw against Bloemfontein Celtic at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Abafana Bes’thende went to the match in need of a victory in order to consolidate the top two position in the Dstv Premiership log.
As expected it was a tightly contested affair with both teams threatening to score. But Siwelele managed to break the deadlock in the 34th minute through Victor Letsoalo.
With Arrows chasing the game coach Mandla Ncikazi made substitutions bringing on Gladwin Shitolo and Sabelo in the second half.
As the game progressed Arrows had some goal mouth action and eventually scored in 72nd minute through marksman Knox Mutizwa.
With just four minutes before the end of the match Ntsako Makhubela got his marching orders leaving Ncikazi’s troops to finish the match with 10 men.
Celtic made made some changes, bringing on fresh Tebogo Potsane and Harris Tchilimbou but Arrows held on for a point apiece.
