Leonardo Castro was first on the scoresheet, before Samir Nurkovic and Eric Mathoho also added their names.
The visitors struggled to get going and allowed Chiefs to dictate terms for the better part of the match, resulting in them taking all maximum points on the day.
The win stretches Chiefs’s lead at the top of the Absa Premiership standings to 9 points.
Chiefs now have 41 points after 17 outings, followed by Sundowns on 32 points from 16 matches.
In other matches, Bloemfontein Celtic hammered Black Leopards 4-2. Victor Letsoalo scored a brace, to go with goals from Siphelele Luthuli and Menzi Masuku.
Chris Katjiukua and Tshwarelo Bereng replied for Lidoda Duvha, but it wasn’t enough.
SuperSport United, meanwhile, beat AmaZulu 2-0. Evans Rusike and Bradley Grobler netted for Matsatsantsa.
