Kaizer Chiefs have lost yet another match this time at home against Cape Town City.
The battle went down at FNB Stadium…
Tashreeq Morris was on the scoresheet in the first half to put the Citizens ahead, before Bradley Ralani’s deflected effort deceived Itumeleng Khune for a 2-0 lead in the second half.
Amakhosi midfielder Kearyn Baccus came off the bench in place of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo to reduce the deficit, making it 2-1.
The visitors, however, held on for maximum points leaving Chiefs outside the top eight and in the relegation zone in 11th place, having lost seven out of 22 matches so far.
City, meanwhile, are now seventh.
Chiefs’ next match is against log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria on Sunday.
