As expected, it was an action-packed game between Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates at the Danie Craven Stadium this afternoon.

A total of four goals were goals in the DStv Premiership encounter which ended in an entertaining 2-2 scoreline.

Pirates had to comeback twice from behind to walk away with a valuable point and extend their unbeaten league run to six matches.

Six minutes into the game, the ‘Citizens’ opened the scoring through Mduduzi Mdantsane with a beautiful curler into the top left corner.

It is Mdantsane’s fourth goal of the season with an assist by Craig Martin.

However, the ‘Buccaneers’ hit back in the 17th minute thanks to a Vincent Pule strike.

The home side regained their lead through a cracker of a goal from Abubaker Mobara against his old side just after the half hour mark.

Pule completed his brace in the 67th minute after being set up nicely by Zakhele Lepasa following a quick counter-attack as the game ended in a stalemate.
