Orlando Pirates and TTM played a goalless draw on Saturday on the last day of the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.
The result means Buccaneers finish the season in third place, securing a spot in the Caf Confederation Cup.
Their opponents TTM, who finished 12th, will also play in same competition by virtue of being Nedbank Cup winners.
But on Saturday, the Soweto giants will feel hard done by the referee after they were denied a penalty early in the first half when Vincent Pule was hacked down in the box.
In the 70th minute, Gabadinho Mhango got the ball in the back of the net but the assistant referee’s flag was already high.
The Buccaneers had a fair share of chances especially in the first half, but failed to convert.
