‘The Beautiful Birds’ played out to a 1-1 draw against Baroka in Soweto at Dobsonville Stadium in what was their last game of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Brandon Truter’s men were hoping to end their campaign with a victory but could only manage a share of the spolis – playing to a stalemate for the 20th time in 30 league matches, which is a PSL record.

Ananias Gerhardt scored the only goal of the first half in the 33rd minute to put the visitors ahead.

But Swallows found the equaliser through Givemore Khupe in the 60th minute.

The draw sees the Soweto side finish in fifth place with 44 points, while Baroka conclude their season just outside the top eight in 10th spot (34 points).
