TTM ease past TS Galaxy

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) crushed TS Galaxy 2-0 in the DStv Premiership encounter at the Emirates Airline Park Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts looked lively in the game’s opening exchanges, dominating possession but missing a couple of opportunities to take the lead.

It was not entirely plain-sailing early on for the Rockets, who did afford TTM a few chances which led to a goal by Brandon Theron in the 42nd minute.

However, the unfazed Mpumalanga-based outfit pushed forward in an attempt to find the equaliser as the visitors appeared a little more conservative in the second period, but their efforts were fruitless.

In the 82nd minute of the game, Galaxy’s defence was caught sleeping when supersub Thabo Rakhale found the back of the net.

Wayde Lekay failed to score a consolidation goal in the 90+2 minute from a penalty spot as Washington Arubi saved it.

In the end, Vhadau Vha Damani sealed the much-needed victory nevertheless.
