Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have secured the much-needed maximum points after beating 10-man Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in their DStv Premiership clash at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night.
The first half appeared to be the beginning of the end. It seemed as though the first half would produce an underwhelming encounter that would promise a little but delivered a fascinating 45.
As the game progressed, Amakhosi had looked down and out when the hosts were superior and began to take command of the match.
In the 38th minute of the game Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom was sent off after receiving his second yellow card of the day.
The game opened up as the first half began to draw to a close, and TTM finally broke the deadlock with a goal from Thabo Rakhale in the 42nd minute.
After a fairly drab start to the second period, the Soweto giants found an equalizer through Lebogang Manyama from a penalty rebound (66′).
In the 90+8 minute of the contest, TTM scored their second goal from a penalty spot, thanks to Thabo Mnyamane who stepped up to covert it.
Vhadau Vha Damani move up to the 14th place with 25 points after 25 games, while Chiefs remain on the 9th position with 29 points from 26 outings.
The Limpopo-based side will be hoping to take the momentum to the Nedbank Cup final this coming weekend against Chippa United.
