Leopards down TTM to keep hopes alive


Black Leopards beat neighbours Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 2-1 at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night to reduce the gap at the bottom to just four points.

TTM took the lead in the first half through a penalty by Alfred Ndengane, but a stunning free-kick by Rodrick Kabwe gave the visitors an equaliser on the stroke of half time.

Sanele Mathenjwa scored the winner for Leopards through a header in the 56th minute.

Leopards remain bottom with 18 points, TTM second from bottom with 22 points while Chippa United are third from bottom with 24 points.

In the other DStv Premiership result, SuperSport United played to a 1-1 against Baroka at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
