Sundowns beat TTM to stretch their lead at the top

Mamelodi Sundowns came from behind to beat Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 3-1 at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.

TTM found the lead through Thembi Nevhulamba as early as the 18th minute. The Brazilians were awarded a penalty early in the second half but Gaston Sirino blasted the ball over the bar.

The log leaders soon found the lead through Sphelele Mkhulise in the 69h minute to take a 2-1 lead for the first time in the match.

Substitute Sibusiso Vilakazi wrapped it up with a goal eight minutes before the final whistle to give Sundowns their 12th win of the season.

Sundowns are now six points above second placed Golden Arrows and also have two matches in hand.

TTM on the other hand remain second from bottom with 16 points, three above bottom placed Black Leopards.
