The clash was the first leg of the semifinals of the CAF Champions League and Amakhosi, considered the underdogs of the remaining four teams, were having none of it and put up a great fight.
Samir Nurkovic’s first half goal was initially ruled out for offside, but VAR intervened and the goal was awarded.
In the second half, Chiefs continued to put their bodies on the line and their gallant fight resulted in a big win in North Africa, a place where it’s very difficult to win.
