Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed that winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is fully recovered from coronavirus.
The England international became the first English Premier League player to test positive for Covid-19 earlier this month.
“I spoke to him throughout that first week when he first got the illness and it was a strange time,” said Lampard in a question and answer session with the Blues fans on Chelsea TV.
“Thankfully he didn’t suffer too much and we are happy he’s come through this,” he said.
Some of the football personalities who have tested positive for the virus include; Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, and Juventus players Daniele Rugani, Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuidi
Sampdoria players Manolo Gabbiadini, Albin Ekdal, Antonino La Gumina, Morten Thorsby, Fabio Depaoli and Bartosz Bereszynski have also been hit by the virus, amongst many other footballers.
