Baroka coach Dylan Kerr has challenged his players to grind for results regardless of the kind of football they display on the field.
Bakgaga who are fighting for survival will take on title chasers Bidvest Wits at Peter Mokaba Stadium this afternoon (15:30).
There has been signs of improvement from the Ga-Mphahlele side since Kerr took over with 3 wins in their last 5 matches.
“I said to them last week I am fed up with getting messages from friends and colleagues who tell me ‘unlucky coach good game you were the better team’ but we lost you know. I would rather be the worse team and get the 3 points that’s how football is,” said Kerr.
“I have to worry about Baroka Football Club not Wits it’s my opportunity to try and make something with this boys because most of them are young and a lot of them are very inexperienced so we don’t have much PSL experience in that squad,” he added.
“So I have to challenge them as I did last year with Leopards, I challenged them you know. To be the best you have to play the best and to be in the best League which is the PSL you got to make sure that you grind out results whether its good football whether it is bad football.”
Wits are 15 points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs but have 3 matches in hand.
Bakgaga are 3 points above bottom placed Polokwane City with 9 matches remaining.
