Newly signed Baroka forward Ivan Mahangwahaya says his previous football experience has prepared him to be ready for anything at any time.
The 30-year-old joined Baroka on a short-term deal until the end of the season following his 6-month stint at Bidvest Wits.
With Bakgaga in a desperate situation to move out of the relegation zone and given his working relationship with coach Dylan Kerr, Mahangwahaya is likely to be part of the team that travels to Highlands Park.
“I feel like if they can call me and say you are in the team I will play because I am here to play and to help the team. Even though I am not that fit, that I won’t lie, but the experience and the heavy heart I have given what I have experienced in football,” Mahangwahaya told FARPost.co.za.
“I am not afraid of any challenge that’s why I am always saying anything can happen if they select me I will be ready to play,” he said.
Baroka face Highlands Park next at Makhulong on Saturday at 20:15.
