Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a further one-year deal with Italian giants AC Milan, that’s according to reports in Italy.
Ibrahimovic has renewed his contract to remain at the San Siro and the club is expected to make a separate announcement about that on Monday.
Speaking to reporters at Milan’s Linate airport on his return to Italy on Saturday night, Ibrahimovic said:
“Finally everything is in place and finally I can return to where I feel at home.”
He arrived at Casa Milan (Milan’s training base) on Monday morning and left an hour later, after putting pen to paper, reportedly set to train with the team in the afternoon.
The 38-year-old will wear the No 11 shirt for Stefano Pioli’s side.
