Chile international Arturo Vidal has joined Italian outfit Inter Milan from Spanish giants Barcelona, for a reported fee of €1m.
Vidal put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Inter on Tuesday to become the sixth Chilean player to join the Serie A club.
The 33-year-old spent two years at Barcelona, making 96 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists.
In a statement, Barcelona said, “We would like to publicly express our gratitude to Arturo Vidal for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.
“Vidal came to FC Barcelona in the summer of 2018. In his two years at Camp Nou, the Chilean midfielder has added another league winner’s medal to his collection, making it an incredible eight leagues in a row in three different countries. He also won the Spanish Super Cup that season.”
