Inter Milan’s Europa League last-32 home match against Ludogorets on Thursday will be played behind closed doors because of fears about the spread of coronavirus.
Inter were one of the Serie A clubs to postpone their games this past weekend.
Late on Monday night both clubs released statements that the decision had been taken to play the match at San Siro without fans in attendance due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus in Italy.
Some 30,000 fans had bought tickets to take in the match but will now not be able to do so but they will not be left out of pocket with the Nerazzurri set to reimburse them all.
With 165, Italy has the largest number of cases of the virus in Europe.
Many schools and colleges were closed in Milan on Monday, although the local transport system is operating.
