Isithembiso FC crowned Philly’s Games champs

Arguably the best team in the Philly’s Games, Isithembiso FC have emerged as the champions for 2020.

The games were played behind closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions, but Isithembiso were not to be deterred.

Isithembiso beat Ndengeza 3-2 in the final played at Mehlareng Stadium on Monday afternoon.

The winners walked away with a R100 000 cheque.

Established in 1992, the Philly’s Games continue to excite all and sundry.

Despite being played behind closed doors, the Games once again lived up to expectations and having to adhere to Covid-19 regulations, the organisers did so with aplomb.
