FARPost caught up with South African and Crystal Palace defender Nikola Tavares who after being sidelined for three months is now available for selection.
The Cape Town born defender told FARPost about how delighted he is to be back playing again.
“It’s very good to be back I’m happy. I was out for a long time.”
The 20-year-old was out through a quad injury and will now be focusing on getting more game time towards the end of the season as he pushes for a place in the first team.
He will hoping to make his senior debut after coming close some time last season as he was on the bench for Palace in the Premier League for the first time.
Should Tavares manage to make an appearance for Palace he will join a list of a few South African players to have played in the biggest league in the world.
