It’s war – Mosimane

Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Pitso Mosimane has sent a friendly reminder to Kaizer Chiefs as the Absa Premiership tittle race heats up.

With Kazier Chiefs running away with the Absa Premiership title and looking to knock the reigning champions off their perch, Mosimane has sent a strong message to Chiefs.

The Brazilians are now six points behind leaders Amakhosi, who are up against Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium this afternoon (15:30).

Sundowns won 1-0 against Polokwane City at Loftus Stadium on Saturday, through a late goal by Sibusiso Vilakazi.

“I’m competing here,” warned Mosimane.

“If I compete I compete fully, I don’t compete half . It’s either I compete or I don’t compete.”

Chiefs, meanwhile, are ready for Maritzburg United, says coach Ernst Middendorp.

“I have enough information but will not talk much about United,” says Middendorp ahead of the clash.
