TS Galaxy head Coach Dan Malesela is pleased with his players’ positive signs of playing together as a team after their two games of the DSTV Premiership so far this campaign.
Galaxy has a mixture of their squad from the GladAfrica Championship and from the now defunct Highlands Park, whom they bought the premiership status from.
“Well, I’m happy about the players being able to play together, there are signs every time in the game,” said Malesela.
“When I’m saying we make a lot of mistakes and all that but is not all gloom, there are very good positive things that are happening in our game. There are positive signs,” he said.
With a couple of games into the season, Malesela reckons he can only measure if they are gelling after a few more league games. However, Malesela concedes it might take a while for his charges to gell and grasp his philosophy.
“So, gelling together is a process, you can’t say on the second game and say surely we are gelling. I think it’s just a process that we need to complete at a certain stage, maybe after 6/7 games I will start saying now here is light,” added Malesela
“The philosophy is not that clear at the moment. There are bits and pieces where you say okay, here players are understanding a little bit there and there but it should be very clear, it should come out as to what are our intentions are in terms of playing,” he concluded.
The Rockets will travel to FNB stadium to face Kaizer Chiefs after the MTN8 and the FIFA International break.
