Janza faces CAF ban

Napsa Stars technical director Honor Janza is facing a possible ban from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for conducting coaching clinics without the continental body’s authority and that of Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).

According to The Mast Sports, the former Mbabane Swallows coach was summoned by the CAF disciplinary committee through a virtual meeting which a FAZ official was part of.

It is believed that Janza admitted to conducting the courses under the nose of both CAF and FAZ sometime this month.

It was also reported that Janza was actually supposed to take over as Naspa Stars coach from Mohammed Fati, but the club had opted to put him as the technical director as they waited for a CAF disciplinary hearing.
