JDR boss pleads with fans to be patient

The JDR chairman and head coach Nditsheni Nemasisi has pleaded with the supporters to be patient as the club is working ‘tirelessly’ to return to winning ways.

Nemasisi and his boys are under a lot of pressure as they look for ways to dig themselves out of the hole they created after a promising start to the season which saw them go unbeaten for a number of games and being top of the GladAfrica Championship table.

The 2018/19 ABC Motsepe League Champions dropped to 8th position on the log standings after a poor run of form.

JDR are now on 24 points after 17 games and the chairman says they will bounce back and make their supporters happy again.

The message to the supporters from the chairman reads as follows:

“We understand the supporters’ frustration when the team is not doing well. We have seen all your concerns and they are valid.

“Those who have been with us long enough know that this phase always happens every season, but we end up competing –  3 May 2020 (the last day of the season) is still far. We as the technical team are working tirelessly to return to winning ways.

“We are asking for patience during this difficult time, we will bounce back and make our supporters happy again.

“Coach Nemasisi continued saying that the league begins now and road to top-flight football starts this coming weekend with TS Galaxy at Giant stadium.

“Let’s rally behind the team because we need all of you. We have seen this movie before.”
