Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele is hoping his team will start converting the many chances they have been creating when they host Baroka at Emirates Airline Park on Tuesday night.
Pirates are yet to score in their two matches since the resumption of the Absa Premiership as they have also failed to find the back of the net in their last two matches prior to the League being temporarily suspended in March.
But Jele takes courage from the fact that the ‘Buccaneers’ are yet to concede a goal in those two matches.
“It’s good for us as defenders not to conceded but obviously we have to improve more in the front line so that we can create more goals and try to score,” said Jali.
“I think so far we have been creating a lot of goals but we didn’t manage to score them and we just need to improve in terms of that, but defensively I think we have been doing well and we are happy with not conceding so far and we just need to improve upfront,” he said.
Pirates are currently third on the Absa Premiership log table, 10 points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
In the seven league matches played between the two clubs, Pirates have won two, with the rest of the games ending in stalemates.
