SAFA KwaZulu Natal will host an Ordinary Congress on the 05 June 2021 at Royal Hotel in Durban.
The provincial association has enjoyed good relations with some stakeholders in both the ABC Motsepe League and Sasol League.
The Congress will also touch on the relations that the association has forged with all the bodies involved.
Most notable is the address by SAFA president Danny Jordaan, who is expected to present the program of action for the next season.
All the relations have been described as successful by provincial chairperson Kwenza Ngwenya.
He told FARPost that this season has been a season for lessons but it was very successful.
“We are happy with our progress as the province, yes there were some lessons that we learnt and things that we could’ve done differently.
“We have good and healthy relations with our stakeholders and we work very well in developing football in the province.
“We’ll learn from that and become better, our season has been successful and we are happy with everything that has taken place,” said Ngwenya.
He also touched on the success of ABC Motsepe KwaZulu Natal League, which was the first to conclude its business in the country this season.
“We have produced a competitive team to represent us in the ABC Motsepe League national playoffs in Umvoti FC.
“We know they’ve been to the playoffs before but this time we are positive that they’d go to the GladAfrica Championship,” added Ngwenya.
The congress will also be graced by Department of Sports and Recreation in the province, KwaZulu Natal Sports Federation and other stakeholders.
