Baroka coach Dylan Kerr has offered a message off support to rival coach Alan Clark following Bakgaga’s 2-0 win against Black Leopards on Saturday.
Leopards are now bottom of the Absa Premiership, 3 points below Baroka who have now jumped to 13th but have played a game more.
It was also a 3rd defeat for Clack since taking over from Cavin Johnson, whom he had served under as assistant coach.
“I was in that same situation, we used to play really well and we used to get beaten and it was right down to the wire,” said Kerr, who was head coach at Leopards last season.
“Alan just got to keep believing in what he is doing, keep helping his players, keep learning and hopefully like I said to his players, you are good players you don’t deserve to go down. But then again we have good players won’t don’t deserve to go down in this League either,” he added.
“But in this League if you don’t win games you don’t get out of that bottom 6 so just keep going Alan! Just keep going. Leopards just like our team the PSL is where we want to be, your life and your futures are in the PSL so make sure your life and your future stays in the PSL.”
The two teams will meet again on Saturday 14, match at Peter Mokaba Stadium in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup.
