The Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash between hosts Bidvest Wits and Chippa United has the potential to be a cracker.
It’s a match – to be played at Bidvest Stadium at 19:30 – that would see two sides with players from either side that have huge potential.
FARPost picks two players from both sides that are set to play a big role in this encounter.
Phathutshedzo Nange (midfielder)
The industrial player goes about his business quietly. Not a talkative figure, but lets his feet do the talking on the field. Nange’s influence from midfield may see him play a pivotal role for the Clever Boys in their bid to reach the Last 8.
Deon Hotto (left winger)
He attacks relentless. He scores goals. The winger helps out in defence. Having said that, the Namibian is a potential match winner. He’s got 8 goals in 27 matches this season.
Ruzaigh Gamildien (attacking midfielder)
It’s in Wits’s best interest to keep a close eye on this forward. Gamildien was scoring goals in the GladAfrica Championship for Steenberg United (11 strikes), before his return to Chippa and already he’s been on the scoresheet for the Chilli Boys, in the Last 32 clash against TS Galaxay, which Chippa won 3-0.
Xolani Maholo (midfielder)
With 17 appearances across all competitions, the 23-year-old has been one of Chippa’s key players this campaign, keeping things tight in the centre of the park.
