Banyana Banyana star Thembi Kgatlana has joined Spanish Primera Iberdrola (La Liga) side SD Eibar as a free agent, a few days after parting ways with Benfica.
“Kgatlana has become the latest reinforcement of the Eibar Sports Society women’s first team,” said Eibar in a statement.
“The 24-year-old South African international was named the winner of the 2018 CAF African Women’s Player award.”
Kgatlana joins Eibar for the 2020/21 season in which the Spanish outfit “will seek performance in the highest category.”
