Kings show Real form

Real Kings may not be the most talked about team in the GladAfrica Championship race, but you can’t help but notice they’ve won four games in a row.

If anything, Kings are indeed Real contenders.

Kings collected maximum points from Cape Umoya in the Mother City on Friday afternoon to make it four wins in a row – a rare occurence in a League so tight, which is credit to coach Joel Masutha and his boys.

Masutha’s charges are undoubtedly punching above their weight, given that Masutha arrived at an unsettled team earlier in the season, but the Limpopo-born tactician is showing his experience in the second tier of SA football and has turned a struggling team into a real force.

The KwaZulu Natal side is now up to fifth on the log standings and are just five points behind the leaders, fellow KZN side, Uthongathi, who are showing some struggles with just one win in their last five matches.

Write off Kings at your peril…

Kings’ next match is away to Tshakhuma on Saturday, January 4.
