Baroka have reached an agreement with assistant coach Vincent Kobola to extend his stay for another season, with an option to stay longer.
Kobola joined Bakgaga towards the end of last season working alongside head coach Matsemela Thoka.
The 36-year-old was linked with a return to Cape Town City where he was expected to reunite with Eric Tinkler.
Speaking to FARPost on Friday, Kobola confirmed that there had been offers from other clubs, but he was happy to stay at the Limpopo club.
“Yes, I have signed for one season plus a one-year option,” said Kobola.
“I had two offers but I can’t name the teams for obvious reasons. But I am happy to stay at Baroka and enjoying my work here,” he said.
