Kodisang nearing double digits in Portugal

It was a weekend of mixed results for Mzansi’s stars abroad.

Kobamelo Kodisang and Luther Singh continued some influence at their clubs while Gift Links’ AGF Aarhus missed an opportunity to close the gap on Brondby.

GIFT LINKS

Links got another start and played 90 minutes for Aarhus as they held log leaders Brondby to a 1-1 draw away from home.

LIAM JORDAN

Jordan was introduced in the second half of the game as Helsingor drew 0-0 against Skive in the Danish 1st division.

SPHEPHELO SITHOLE

The KZN Academy graduate played the entire 90 minutes for SAD Belenenses who were held to a 1-1 draw by Rio Ave on Sunday evening.

LUTHER SINGH

Singh continued his hot form with a goal and an assist for Pacos Ferreira on Saturday evening.

Ferreira defeated Moreirense 3-0 away from home thanks to goals from Douglas Tanque, Helder Ferreira and Luther Singh.

KOBAMELO KODISANG

Kodisang netted his ninth goal of the campaign as SC Braga B defeated SC Maria 2-0 in the Campeonato de Portugal on Sunday.

NOKO MATLOU & THEMBI KGATLANA

The duo started and played the whole 90 minutes, but couldn’t help SD Eibar avoid a 1-0 loss against Espanyol.

REFILOE JANE

Jane returned to action after coming back from suspension.

The midfielder started and got substituted in the second half as AC Milan defeated Empoli 1-0 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday afternoon.

JERMAINE SEOPOSENWE

Seoposenwe started and played the whole game as SC Braga defeated Maritimo 2-1 in the Portuguese top-flight.

SIYANDA XULU

Xulu played another 90 minutes for Hapoel Tel Aviv as they drew 1-1 against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Premier League.

ROWAN HUMAN

Human started and got substituted at half time as Beitar Tel Aviv got thumped 4-1 by Hapoel Iksal on Friday evening.

THABO CELE

Cele started and lasted 86 minutes for Cova di Piedade who lost 3-2 against log leaders Estoril Praia on Saturday evening.

MIHLALI MAYAMBELA

The winger got his first start of the season and lasted 68 minutes for Academica who drew 0-0 with Oliveirense in the Portuguese Segunda Liga.

TERCIOUS MALEPE

After finishing his suspension, the South African youth international was drafted into the starting line-up for FC Mynai.

He played 90 minutes as Mynai were held to a 0-0 draw by Mariupol in the Ukrainian Premier League.

TIMOTI MUZI

The teenager started and lasted 59 minutes for Hapoel K.Far who lost 1-0 against Hapoel Kiryat Shmona.
